The Massey Ferguson RB 3130F Protec (Protection Baler and Professional Technology) combines all the advantages of a fixed chamber baler with the addition of an integrated wrapping device, allowing for baling and wrapping on the move. Bales are immediately protected from changing weather conditions, preserving silage quality, which enables the operator to stack or transport the bales, or begin harvesting in another field.

A new addition to the MF range of round balers
The new MF RB 3130F Protec baler combines all the advantages of our fixed chamber baler with the addition of a specially designed integrated wrapping device, enabling fast, continuous baling and wrapping on the move.
Bale Handling and Transfer
The new combined unit features a lower crop lifting angle, reducing the overall height of the baler. This enhances stability, allowing for safer and faster operation on slopes. It also decreases back pressure in the feeding area, accelerating crop flow and minimizing the risk of blockages.
Transfer Arm
In addition to the transfer arm, the new design includes two active guide plates on both sides of the baler that direct the bale precisely to the center of the wrapping table, enabling a faster and more secure transfer cycle.
Transport Mode
In transport mode, the wrapping ring folds forward, reducing the overall machine length to just 5.9 meters, ensuring safer transport and improved maneuverability.
Bale Wrapping
Once the bale is transferred to the center of the wrapping table, the hydraulically driven wrapping ring begins rotating even before the baler’s rear door is fully closed, completing the cycle before the next bale is formed. Designed to withstand the heaviest bale loads, the robust frame with a quiet mechanism operates at speeds of up to 35 rotations per minute, enabling smooth, continuous wrapping, bale after bale.
