MF LB 2200
Significant upgrades enhance the performance of the MF LB 2200 series large square balers.
Building on the success of its predecessor, the MF LB 2200 series introduces significant updates and new features to further enhance performance.
The large square baler series retains five models covering four bale sizes. New model numbers have been introduced.
These square balers produce dense, well-formed bales and are renowned for their reliability, durability, and low ownership costs.

Exceptional cutting capabilities
The MF LB 2233 model features a cutter with up to 17 knives, while the MF LB 2224, MF LB 2234, and MF LB 2234 XD models have up to 26 knives. The knives are arranged in two groups, which can be easily activated or deactivated from the cab using the terminal and valve. When all knives are engaged, the cutting length is 43.5 mm, and when using one group of knives, the cutting length is 87.0 mm.
Pre-Compression System
The immense capacity, industry-leading bale density, and excellent shape stem from the award-winning design of the pre-compression chamber. Only when the chamber is fully packed does the stuffer fork activate, pushing a fully formed layer into the bale chamber.
The heaviest and strongest plunger in the industry
Driven by a high-power gearbox, the plunger is connected to two heavy-duty connecting rods. These rods house load sensors that measure the load on the front of the plunger. The data from the sensors is used to control the automatic density control system and provide guidance to the operator in case of uneven crop rows.
Optiformᵀᴹ Bale Chamber
The bale chamber in the new generation of the MF LB 2200 series is designed to produce perfectly shaped bales with incredible density. Its design ensures immense strength and lasting reliability for years. The MF LB 2234 XD and MF LB 2244 balers feature the Optiformᵀᴹ bale chamber, providing “Optimal Formation” of bales in these high-capacity, high-density models.
Dual Knotting System
The dual knotting system, pioneered by Hesston, offers unmatched reliability, tying millions of bales worldwide for over 40 years. It continues to perform this vital role in the MF LB 2200 series balers.
