Simplicity
The first word that comes to mind when thinking about these seeders is simplicity. The designer approached every aspect of planning and building the machine with the idea that the seeder must be simple and easy to use and maintain. The mechanical transmission from the wheels to the seeding sections operates through chains and sprockets, making it visible and accessible to the operator at all times. Additionally, this type of transmission is extremely reliable and easy to service. In three words: “like a bicycle.” The Easy-set patented hydraulic system for narrowing and expanding the seeding units along the frame allows for easy row spacing adjustments in just a few minutes. All you need to do is change the row spacers, which then determine the final position of each unit on the frame when the hydraulic cylinder is activated. No tools are required for this operation. The patented Magic-sem seeding unit allows for the complete removal of the unit’s side cover, providing excellent access to the seeding plates, making their replacement quick and easy.
Ease of work
Another standout feature of MaterMacc seeders is their lightweight construction. When designing the machine, the engineers took into account that not every farmer has a large tractor, and the seeder must be adapted accordingly. The result is a six-row hydraulic folding seeder weighing just 1,040 kg and an eight-row version at 1,370 kg. Despite this, the pressure of each individual seeding section is as high as 135 kg. Additionally, the hitch is designed so the machine is carried as close to the tractor as possible, and the units are only 120 cm long, minimizing the “balancing effect” on the tractor. For example, to operate the six-row MaterMacc 8230 seeder, you won’t need a tractor larger than a Belarus 82. For easy transport, the folded width of the six-row 8230 seeder is just 2.54 meters, while the eight-row version is slightly wider at 3 meters.

Another indispensable feature of MaterMacc seeders is their high precision in operation. Numerous field trials and tests conducted in Vojvodina have demonstrated that MaterMacc seeders rank among the most accurate and reliable on our market. The specially designed and patented Magic-sem seeding unit, after many years of development, has been revised and further enhanced to deliver even higher quality and greater precision for users.
Versatility
It is important to note that one of the key features of this seeder is its versatility. Thanks to the Easy-set hydraulic system for adjusting the seeding units along the beam, row spacing can be set from 37.5 cm to as much as 95 cm. By using different spacers, you can adjust the row spacing to your specific needs, even for unique or non-standard requirements. Additionally, the universal seeding unit allows for planting both the smallest seeds (tomatoes, peppers, onions, carrots, rapeseed, lettuce) with plates as small as 0.5 mm in diameter, as well as larger crops (sugar beet, corn, sunflower, soybeans) with plates ranging from 2.5 mm to 5.5 mm and even larger.
Electric Drive Option
The 8230 seeder version with 6 or 8 rows can also be delivered with electric motor-driven seeding units. This version has an independent power supply system, so no additional installation is required on the tractor. The electric drive provides slightly higher precision and working speed. It also allows for the adjustment of plant spacing within the row and automatic activation and deactivation of seeding sections when entering an already sown area, resulting in reduced seed consumption.
